The girls at thefamilyroom have been somewhat quiet in the last week or so due to school holidays.
This is a time when we revel in the company of our young charges amid a whirlwind of sleepovers, treasure hunts, movies, bike rides, visits from relatives, sleep ins, a break from routine, craft, road trips, dress ups, camping, tree climbing, baking treats, playing make believe, picnics and the like.
