My (new) friend, Jo anne is a writer. She has written and published her first book, which is really exciting and we are all so proud of her. This past weekend I was at her house relaxing and enjoying good conversation. She shared some of her poetry with me and today I would like to share it with you.

Christmas Time by Jo anne Seippert

Christmas is a time for joy
For every girl and every boy
Smiles from ear to ear we see
Their faces happy
So filled with glee
The merry songs they sing so bright
The lights that shine throughout the night
So on this lovely time of joy
Tell every girl and every boy
You love them so and always will
And send throughout the world a thrill
Of Christmas love
And Christmas fun
Send this love to every one
Send Christmas love from here to there
And show to everyone you care.
